Brands
Hatch is located in Longfield in Kent. Since 1926 there has been
a race track at Brands but in them days it was a grass track used
for bikes and they went anti-clockwise around the circuit. It was
in 1954 that the direction competitors raced in changed to how it
is today.
The
Brands Hatch circuit is very famous and combines tight corners with
hills and dips. The natural contours make the track a challenge
to drive but is a wonderful spectacle.
The
Brands Hatch circuit has the longer track measuring 2.6 miles and
the shorter Indy circuit measuring just 1.2 miles.
